The
Department of Electrical Engineering in the School of Engineering
invites applications from interested individuals at all levels in
Computer Engineering. Areas of interest include, but are not limited
to, microarchitecture, electronics and system level design automation,
hardware description languages, hardware/software codesign, embedded
systems, and mid-signal and circuit design.
Duties:
The
successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and
graduate courses, to establish a research program and to participate
in departmental, School of Engineering, and college-wide committee
activities.
Qualifications:
Applicants
must possess a PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
and must demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching at the undergraduate
and graduate levels and the ability to attract significant research
support. Exceptional research accomplishments and substantial funding
experience are essential for senior positions.
Salary:
Assistant
Professor $35,031 - $56,014 } Possibility of recruitment award
Associate
Professor $45,651 - $77,529 } and distinguished professor
Professor
$56,664 - $93,507 } increment where appropriate.
